The American Red Cross of Northwest Georgia seeks blood donations from the public. The next blood drive in Rome will be held on Monday, November 16th from 3 pm until 7 pm at the chapter’s office, located at 112 John Maddox Drive, according to Leigh Barba, Executive Director, who adds that Romans have been very supportive of Red Cross blood drives in recent months. Each donor may reserve an appointment time online at www.redcrossblood.org or by calling 1-800-REDCROSS.
The Red Cross is currently testing blood, platelet, and plasma donations for COVID-19 antibodies, indicates Barba.
