Now is a good time to get started on your Christmas shopping, asserts Kristi Kent, Director of Communications for the City of Rome and Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism, who encourages all Romans to shop local and take special precautions to protect one another from coronavirus (like wearing a mask).
Kent also urges Romans to make plans to attend the Georgia’s Rome Winter Art Market, slated for Saturday, December 5th and Sunday, December 6th from 10 am to 4 pm both days at the Rome Civic Center. Most of the vendors will be outside.
For more information on the Art Market and other upcoming events around Rome and Floyd County, visit www.romegeorgia.org.
Small Town Christmas in the Country 2020 is also set for the first weekend of December in Cave Spring. Hours are 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday, December 5th and 12 pm to 4 pm on Sunday, December 6th. This event will also provide gift givers an opportunity to shop for unique, handmade items.
