STATEWIDE AUDIT OF RESULTS IN 2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION NOW COMPLETE; FLOYD COUNTY ELECTIONS BOARD VOTES TO TERMINATE CHIEF ELECTIONS CLERK

Georgia’s historic statewide audit of results in the 2020 presidential election is now complete. Democrat Joe Biden’s lead over Republican Donald Trump has been reaffirmed, as indicated in a release from Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. Election results are expected to be certified today.

The Floyd County Board of Elections voted on Thursday to terminate Chief Elections Clerk Robert Brady. Two reprimands over the past six months were cited in their decision, according to this morning’s Rome News-Tribune.
