ROME CITY COMMISSIONERS MEET VIRTUALLY THIS EVENING; FLOYD COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO MEET ON TUESDAY AT THE FORUM RIVER CENTER

The Floyd County Commission will meet Tuesday at the Forum River Center in downtown Rome. Their caucus will be held at 4:30 pm in the Floyd Room; it will be followed by the meeting at 6 pm in the Ballroom. Both sessions are open to the public. Attendees are requested to wear masks and practice social distancing. Dr. Gary Voccio, the Health Director for the Georgia Department of Public Health’s Northwest Health District, is anticipated to offer an update on the COVID-19 pandemic in this region. County Commissioners will hold an FY21 Planning Session earlier Tuesday; that 2:30 pm gathering will take place in the Floyd Room of the Forum River Center.
