TWENTY-FOUR LIVES LOST ON GEORGIA’S ROADS OVER THE 102-HOUR THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY TRAVEL PERIOD

Traffic crashes across Georgia over the 102-hour long Thanksgiving holiday travel period resulted in 23 fatal crashes and 24 fatalities reported to the State Patrol, according to a GSP media release. The holiday travel period began on Wednesday, November 25th at 6 pm and concluded on Sunday, November 29th at 11:59 pm. Only one traffic fatality was reported in Troop A, which covers Northwest Georgia.
