OVER 4,000 NEW CASES OF COVID-19 REPORTED ON WEDNESDAY IN GEORGIA

A total of 4,094 new cases of COVID-19 were reported on Wednesday across Georgia by the state’s Department of Public Health, which additionally noted 35 more virus-related deaths statewide.

According to the latest report by the DPH issued just before 3 pm, there have been 428,980 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide. The state’s death toll now stands at 8,830. In Floyd County, there were 5,138 confirmed cases and 77 fatalities. Fulton County had the state’s highest number of confirmed cases with 38,101 and the most deaths with 671.
