Wright Bagby has been tapped to serve as the Chairman of the Floyd County Commission in 2021, while Allison Watters will be Vice Chair. The pair was appointed to their respective positions by fellow Commissioners during their regular meeting held on Tuesday at the Forum River Center. Bagby, who has also served as Rome’s Mayor, will be a successor to Scotty Hancock, who has been the Chair for the last two years.
