FREEMAN NAMED NL HANK AARON AWARD WINNER FOR 2020

The postseason awards keep rolling in for the Atlanta Braves’ first baseman Freddie Freeman. It was announced on Tuesday that Freeman was selected as Major League Baseball’s National League recipient of the ’20 Hank Aaron Award. This award, named in honor of the former Brave and Baseball Hall-of-Famer Hank Aaron, recognizes offensive performance. Freeman already nabbed NL MVP accolades back in November.
