This marks week two of the Rome Downtown Development Authority’s three week Rome for the Holidays, an effort to encourage local shoppers to support downtown businesses during the 2020 holiday season. Those businesses will be open late tonight and next Thursday evening to allow Romans to finish up their holiday shopping. Rome for the Holidays was initially a one night event when it was first offered in 2019. It was expanded for 2020 to each Thursday evening from Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve.
