Governor Brian Kemp has announced that VT Industries, a manufacturer of countertops and commercial doors, will invest $24 million in expanding their manufacturing operations in Rome. This expansion will result in an increase of VT Industries’ onsite employment by a third, creating 42 new jobs in Floyd County. The company is based in Holstein, Iowa. Its Rome operation began in 1990.
