JUST THREE DAYS OF EARLY VOTING IN JANUARY 5TH RUNOFF THIS WEEK

There will only be three days of advance voting this week for the January 5th run-off election, as both of the advance voting locations in Floyd County will be closed Thursday and Friday for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Local voters may cast their early ballots at any time between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm today until Wednesday at the county’s Administration Building, located on East Fourth Avenue, or at Garden Lakes Baptist Church at 2200 Redmond Circle. Advance voting will be offered at the same locations during the same hours next Monday through Thursday, December 28th through 31st.

The run-off will determine who will represent Georgia in the US Senate; the candidates include Republican incumbents Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue and Democratic challengers Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff. A post on the Public Service Commission is also up for a vote.
