Advance in-person voting resumes today for the January 5th run-off election. Floyd County voters may cast their early ballots any time from 8 am to 5 pm through this Thursday, December 31st at the county’s Administration Building on East 4th Avenue or Garden Lakes Baptist Church at 2200 Redmond Circle. The polls will be open on Election Day, next Tuesday, January 5th, from 7 am to 7 pm.
The eyes of the nation are on this particular election as it will determine who will represent Georgia in the US Senate. Candidates include the Republican incumbents Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue and the Democratic challengers Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff. A post on the Public Service Commission is also up for a vote.
