MORE THAN 3,000 NEW CASES OF CORONAVIRUS REPORTED ON MONDAY IN GEORGIA; OVER 43,000 HAVE BEEN VACCINATED

A total of 3,165 new cases of coronavirus were reported across Georgia on Monday by the state’s Department of Public Health, which additionally noted five more virus-related fatalities.

According to the latest report by the DPH issued just before 3 pm, there have been 546,859 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide. The state’s death toll now stands at 9,719. In Floyd County, there were 6,499 confirmed cases and 106 deaths. Gwinnett County had the most cases in the state with 49,389, and Fulton County had the most fatalities with 731.
