TWENTY PEOPLE KILLED ON GEORGIA’S ROADS DURING THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY TRAVEL PERIOD

Twenty people were killed on Georgia’s roads during the Christmas holiday travel period, this according to the state’s Department of Public Safety. The 78-hour long period began at 6 pm on Thursday night and ended at 11:59 pm this past Sunday night. No fatalities were reported by Troop A, which covers Northwest Georgia.

The New Year’s holiday travel period will begin this Thursday night at 6 pm and continue through Sunday, January 3rd, 2021 at 11:59 pm.
