NEARLY 6,000 NEW CASES OF CORONAVIRUS REPORTED ACROSS GEORGIA ON TUESDAY, OVER 52,000 HAVE BEEN VACCINATED

A total of 5,931 new cases of coronavirus were reported across Georgia on Tuesday by the state’s Department of Public Health, which additionally noted 41 more virus-related deaths.

According to the latest report by the DPH issued just before 3 pm, there have been 552,712 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide. The state’s death toll now stands at 9,759. In Floyd County, there were 6,592 confirmed cases and 106 fatalities. Gwinnett County had this state’s highest number of confirmed cases with 50,063, and Fulton County had the most deaths with 732.
