Today is the final day of advanced in-person voting in Floyd County for the January 5th runoff election. Voters may cast their ballots from 8 am to 5 pm at the county’s Administration Building on East 4th Avenue or Garden Lakes Baptist Church at 2200 Redmond Circle.
The runoff will determine who will represent Georgia in the US Senate; the candidates include Republican incumbents Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue and Democratic challengers Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff. There is also a post on the Public Service Commission up for a vote.
The polls will be open on Election Day, next Tuesday, January 5th, from 7 am to 7 pm.
