OVER 4,000 NEW CASES OF COVID-19 REPORTED IN GEORGIA ON MONDAY; OVER 94,000 VACCINATED SO FAR

A total of 4,045 new cases of coronavirus were reported across Georgia on Monday by the state’s Department of Public Health, which additionally noted seven more virus-related deaths.

According to the latest report by the DPH issued just before 3 pm, there have been 591,106 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide. The state’s death toll now stands at 9,900. In Floyd County, there were 7,008 confirmed cases and 109 fatalities. Gwinnett County had this state’s highest number of confirmed cases with 53,884, and Fulton County had the most deaths with 742.
