The Atlanta Hawks snapped a two-game losing skid with a 108-97 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves in an MLK Day outing at State Farm Arena on Monday.
De’Andre Hunter was Atlanta’s top scorer with 25 points. Clint Capela had 23 points and 15 rebounds. Trae Young contributed 20 points and 13 assists. Kevin Huerter notched 17 points, while John Collins scored 15 points.
D’Angelo Russell had a game-high 31 points for the T’wolves, who have lost nine out of their last 10 outings.
The Hawks improved to 6-7 on the 2020-21 regular season. They’ll remain at home to host the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night at 7:30 pm.
