OVER 4,000 NEW CASES OF COVID-19 REPORTED IN GEORGIA ON MONDAY; OVER 420,000 HAVE BEEN VACCINATED

A total of 4,428 new cases of coronavirus were reported across Georgia on Monday by the state’s Department of Public Health, which additionally noted 63 more virus-related fatalities.

According to the latest report by the DPH issued just before 3 pm, there have been 684,763 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide. The state’s death toll now stands at 11,095. In Floyd County, there were 7,855 confirmed cases and 122 fatalities. Gwinnett County had this state’s highest number of confirmed cases with 64,769, and Fulton County had the most deaths with 816.
