TAKE THE KIDS FOR A TOUR OF NATIVE AMERICAN HISTORIC SITES AROUND GEORGIA DURING THIS SPRING BREAK

Now is a good time to make plans for Spring Break, enthuses Kim Hatcher, the Public Affairs Coordinator for Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites. She encourages families to take a tour of Georgia history among Native American sites across the state. Details are online at www.gastateparks.org.

A number of these historic sites are located in Northwest Georgia, such as the Etowah Indian Mounds in Cartersville, New Echota in Calhoun and the Chief Vann House in Chatsworth, indicates Hatcher.

Hatcher urges all families to visit the Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites website to get even more ideas for Spring Break adventures.
