Governor Brian Kemp and DPH Commissioner Dr. Kathleen Toomey shared the news that Georgia had reached a milestone one million vaccines during a briefing that was held at the drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination site at Jim Miller Park in Marietta on Wednesday. That total now includes at least a first shot to over 502,000 seniors.
Asserts Kemp, “Georgians should know that demand will continue to far outpace vaccine supply for the foreseeable future. As soon as supply allows the state to expand current vaccination criteria, we will absolutely do so.”
