The Rome City Commission will gather virtually via Zoom this evening in a meeting that will be streamed live on Facebook; search for City of Rome, GA – Government. The meeting will begin at 6:30 pm and will be preceded by a caucus session at 6 pm. Commissioners are expected to extend the city’s face covering ordinance tonight.
Floyd County Commissioners will meet Tuesday at the Forum River Center in downtown Rome. Their caucus will start at 3:30 pm in the Floyd Room; it will be followed by the meeting at 6 pm in the ballroom. Both of the sessions are open to the public. Attendees are requested to wear masks and to practice social distancing.
