A total of 3,363 new cases of coronavirus and 76 more virus-related deaths were reported across Georgia on Thursday by the state Department of Public Health. One of those fatalities was reported here in Floyd County.
According to the latest update by the DPH issued just before 3 pm, there have been 783,821 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide. The state’s death toll now stands at 13,672. In Floyd County, there were 8,934 confirmed cases and 147 fatalities. Gwinnett County had this state’s highest number of confirmed cases with 77,197, and Fulton County had the most deaths with 963.
