KEEP ROME-FLOYD BEAUTIFUL INVITES THE PUBLIC TO ARBOR DAY 2021 CELEBRATION

Keep Rome-Floyd Beautiful invites the public to attend their celebration of Arbor Day 2021, set for Friday, February 19th at 1 pm at Tolbert Park, located at 300 Charlton Street.

Emma Wells, KRFB Director, indicates that trees have already been planted in advance of the event, at which Georgia Power will offer seedlings – free of charge – to all attendees.

The celebration will be streamed live on Facebook via the Keep Rome-Floyd Beautiful page for viewing by those who are hesitant to attend any in-person events at this time, adds Wells.

Rome marks its 31st year as a Tree City USA, a designation of the Arbor Day Foundation, according to Wells.
