ROME’S ALCOHOL CONTROL COMMISSION TO CONSIDER HOME DELIVERY OF BEVERAGES

Rome’s Alcohol Control Commission is anticipated to consider an ordinance at their regular meeting this evening which would allow for home delivery of alcoholic beverages by licensees in accordance with state law. The ordinance would also permit suspension of an alcohol license for failure to pay debts or obligations to the city. If passed, it would go before the City Commission for their approval (or disapproval). Tonight’s meeting is set for 5 pm at City Hall (or the City Auditorium) in downtown Rome.
