TOURISM – FOR THE MOST PART – IS ALIVE AND WELL IN ROME AND FLOYD COUNTY

Tourism is alive and well in Rome and Floyd County, in spite of the ongoing concern over coronavirus. That is because this is a drive market, states Kristi Kent, Director of Communications for the Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism, who adds that many visitors are drawn to this area’s outdoor attractions.

Group travel related to business meetings and special events is down at this time. However, the tourism office has received a boost from visitors in town for tennis and healthcare.
