There are a number of cancellations and delays for today because of concerns over icy roads amid chilly temperatures overnight and into this morning after Monday’s rain.
- Floyd County Schools – closed, after school activities cancelled
- Rome City Schools – will remain virtual
- Georgia Highlands College – all of their locations will delay opening until 10 am
- Georgia Northwestern Technical College – all campuses will delay their opening until 10 am
- The Georgia Department of Public Health’s Northwest Health District offices, including all 10 county health departments, will delay opening until 10 am. The Gordon County COVID-19 test site will not be open today. Those scheduled for pre-10 am COVID-19 vaccinations at those effected health departments are being contacted to reschedule.
- Floyd County administrative offices will delay opening until 10 am
- City of Rome – staff will report to work at 10 am
- Harbin Clinic – all locations will delay opening until 10 am
