In high school basketball, the Region 7-AA Tournament will resume today at Chattooga High School in Summerville. Coverage will be provided over the airwaves of WLAQ 1410 AM/96.9 FM, online at www.wlaq1410.com and on the new WLAQ Sports YouTube channel.
The tournament now heads into the semifinal round. Here’s the schedule:
4 pm – Dade County vs. Chattooga girls
5:30 pm – Model vs. Dade County boys
7 pm – Gordon Central vs. Fannin County girls
8:30 pm – Coosa vs. Chattooga boys
Though the semifinal round was delayed from Tuesday until today due to the weather, the championships will still be played on Thursday evening.
