ROME-FLOYD CHAMBER PRESIDENT AND CEO: LOCAL SMALL BUSINESSES HAVE MAINTAINED RESILIENCE AMID PANDEMIC

Businesses around Rome and Floyd County have maintained resilience amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, asserts Jeanne Krueger, the President and CEO of the Rome-Floyd Chamber. She adds that small business owners have adapted in order to ensure that their businesses survive and to safely serve all of their customers.

The Chamber’s Shop Rome campaign is aimed at supporting small business and urging Rome and Floyd County residents to shop in Rome, Cave Spring, and Floyd County, especially during these challenging times. It makes a big difference, says Krueger.

Shoppers have varied means by which to connect with their favorite business, whether in-person or online. The Chamber’s goal, says Krueger, is to connect businesses with potential customers.

The Rome-Floyd Chamber announced late last week that it has welcomed 57 new members within the past year. Approximately 30 of those new members are new businesses in Rome and Floyd County.
