BRAVES PICK UP FIRST SPRING TRAINING WIN OF 21 ON MONDAY, SET TO PLAY FIRST HOME GAME OF THEIR GRAPEFRUIT LEAGUE SCHEDULE TODAY

The Atlanta Braves picked up their first Spring Training victory of the year over the Boston Red Sox by a final score of 5-3 on Monday afternoon down in Fort Myers, FL. William Contreras led the charge offensively with three RBIs. Huascar Ynoa was credited as the winning pitcher after giving up just one earned run and no hits, walking two and striking out four in one and two-third innings.

The Braves will play their first Grapefruit League outing on their home field for ’21 this afternoon versus the Minnesota Twins. The first pitch is slated for 1:05 pm at CoolToday Park in North Port, FL.
