ATLANTA BRAVES EMERGE VICTORIOUS IN THEIR FIRST SPRING TRAINING GAME AT HOME FOR ’21 OVER MINNESOTA TWINS

The Atlanta Braves emerged victorious in the first Spring Training game on their home field for 2021 by a final score of 6-0 over the Minnesota Twins on Tuesday afternoon at CoolToday Park in North Port, FL. Travis d’Arnaud led the charge with a solo home run that got Atlanta on the board in the bottom of the first inning. Ian Anderson was the winning pitcher.

The Braves will host the Baltimore Orioles today. Drew Smyly is expected to make his debut in an Atlanta uniform as the starting pitcher. The first pitch is set for 1:05 pm.
