Habitat for Humanity of Coosa Valley celebrated the completion of their 57th home this past Sunday, February 28th. The build, sponsored by First Baptist Church of Rome and their Hands of Christ project, began back on July 11th on Branham Avenue (in the midst of COVID-19) and took about eight months to complete, according to a Habitat media release. Their efforts have resulted in a new home for the family of Amelia Marks. They are excited about it, states Betsy Allgood, Habitat’s Executive Director.
