BEAUTIFUL WEATHER HAS LED TO INCREASED VISITORS AT GEORGIA STATE PARKS AND HISTORIC SITES

Some beautiful weather is in the forecast into next week, and Georgians are undoubtedly going to head outside to enjoy it this weekend. Weekends are getting busier and busier at parks around the state, says Kim Hatcher, Public Affairs Coordinator for Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites, who suggests weekday visits to those who want to avoid crowds.

Those who plan to go camping in the coming months are urged by Hatcher to make their reservations well in advance.

Camping reservations may be made on the Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites’ website at www.gastateparks.org. That site also features details about each park around the state.
