Rome City Commissioners will gather via Zoom this evening in a meeting to be streamed live on Facebook. Their 6:30 pm meeting will be preceded by a caucus session at 5 pm. A link to view the live stream and the agenda may be located on the City of Rome, GA – Government’s Facebook page.
Mayor Craig McDaniel urges community members to get involved with local government. He adds that Rome City Commissioners are accessible.
The Floyd County Commission’s next regular meeting is slated for Tuesday at the Forum River Center in downtown Rome. The 6 pm gathering will be held in the ballroom and will be preceded by a caucus session at 4:30 pm in the Floyd Room. Both are open to the public. All attendees are requested to wear masks and practice social distancing.
