PLENTY OF SPACE FOR SOCIAL DISTANCING AT TODAY’S FLOYD COUNTY COMMISSION MEETING, ROME CITY COMMISSIONERS EXTEND CITY’S MASK MANDATE

Floyd County Commissioners will meet today at the Forum River Center in downtown Rome. Caucus will take place at 4:30 pm in the Floyd Room with the meeting to follow at 6 pm in the ballroom.

Chairman Wright Bagby invites the public to attend today’s meeting. He says that there’s plenty of space for social distancing at the Forum River Center.

All attendees are asked to wear masks and to maintain a safe social distance from others.

The Rome City Commission met on Monday night via Zoom in a gathering that was streamed live (and may still be viewed) on Facebook; search for the City of Rome, GA – Government page. Commissioners opted to extend this city’s mask ordinance through April 5th at 11:59 pm.
