ATLANTA BRAVES USE THE LONG BALL TO DEFEAT TAMPA BAY RAYS IN SPRING TRAINING MATCH

The Atlanta Braves used the long ball to defeat the Tampa Bay Rays 8-7 in a Spring Training match on Sunday afternoon at CoolToday Park in North Port, Florida.

Highlights included a two-run homer from Jason Kipnis and a solo shot from Ronald Acuna, Jr. in the bottom of the fifth inning, solo shots apiece by Shea Langeliers and Sean Kazmar in the eighth, and a three-run homer from Ehire Adrianza that secured the win for Atlanta in the bottom of the ninth.

The Braves will remain in North Port, FL to host the Minnesota Twins today. First pitch is set for 1:05 pm.
