BRAVES TOP RAYS IN SPRING TRAINING MATCH; OPENING DAY IS JUST 10 DAYS AWAY!

The Atlanta Braves beat the Tampa Bay Rays 11-1 in a Spring Training game on Sunday afternoon in Port Charlotte, FL.

Max Fried secured the win for Atlanta after giving up only one run and three hits, walking none, and striking out five over six innings of work. Offensive highlights included two-run singles from Jake Lamb and Travis d’Arnaud, as well as a two-run homerun by Dansby Swanson and a solo shot from William Contreras.

The Braves will head to Fort Myers to face the Minnesota Twins today. First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 pm.
