BRAVES BEAT RAYS IN GRAPEFRUIT LEAGUE PLAY, TUNE IN FOR SPRING TRAINING ACTION OVER THE WEEKEND ON WLAQ

The Atlanta Braves defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 5-2 on Thursday afternoon in Spring Training action at CoolToday Park in North Port, Florida.

Highlights included a two-run homer by Marcell Ozuna in the bottom of the sixth inning, his second homer in Grapefruit League play for this year.

The Braves will head to Fort Myers, FL this evening to take on the Minnesota Twins. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 pm.

Saturday’s game is scheduled for 6:05 pm versus the Baltimore Orioles in North Port; air time is 5:55 pm. The Braves will head to Port Charlotte on Sunday for a match with the Tampa Bay Rays at 1:05 pm, for which the Braves Radio Network will be using their regular season format. Pre-game programming is scheduled to air at 11:50 am – WLAQ will join that broadcast in progress upon the conclusion of our Sunday morning religious programming.
