GEORGIA GENERAL ASSEMBLY IS NEARING THE CONCLUSION OF ITS 2021 SESSION

The 2021 session of the Georgia General Assembly is nearing its conclusion. Katie Dempsey, the Representative for the 13th District in the Georgia House of Representatives, states that her focus “under the Gold Dome” this year has been to maintain objectivity with regards to proposed legislation and vote in a manner reflective of her constituents.

Dempsey has fielded many questions pertaining to Georgia’s new voting bill that was signed last week by Governor Brian Kemp. She remains open to her constituents with concerns about that bill and other legislative matters.

Contact information for all state legislators are posted on the Georgia General Asssembly’s website, www.legis.ga.gov.

The state legislature’s 2021 session began on January 11th and is slated to end this Wednesday at the State Capitol in Atlanta.
