BRAVES WRAP UP GRAPEFRUIT LEAGUE PLAY; JUST A DAY UNTIL OPENING DAY! ALSO, ATLANTA RELEASES ’21 FIELD STAFFS FOR MINOR LEAGUE AFFILIATES

The Atlanta Braves wrapped up their Spring Training with a victory over the Boston Red Sox 5-3 on Tuesday afternoon in Fort Myers, Florida.

Highlights included a three-run homer by Ozzie Albies in the top of the fifth inning. In addition, Mike Soroka took to the pitchers mound in the bottom of the sixth inning for his first outing since an injury to his right Achilles tendon back on August 3rd. He was credited with the save, while Drew Smyly picked up the win for Atlanta.

Just one more day remains until Opening Day! The Atlanta Braves will open up the 2021 regular season this Thursday with a match in Philadelphia versus the Phillies.
