Georgia Northwestern Technical College’s annual Spring Plant Sale began on Tuesday and will be open today and Thursday from 8:30 am until 4 pm at the greenhouses across from GNTC’s Floyd County campus. Purchases may be made via cash or check. Proceeds will benefit GNTC’s horticulture program. Items for sale include annuals, perennials, vegetables, herbs, hanging baskets, blooming plants, and potted geraniums; their selection of vegetables includes tomatoes, peppers, squash, cucumbers, eggplants, and more.
Social distancing guidelines will be in effect. All customers are requested to wear face coverings.
Orders are being taken for the Chieftains Museum/Major Ridge Home’s Herb and Plant Sale through this Saturday, April 10th. Pick up is slated for Friday, April 16th from 3 pm to 7 pm and on Saturday, April 17th from 9 am to 1 pm in the Community Building at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds.
