The ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference) Tennis Championships will take place at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College later this month. Spectators will not be permitted, asserts Kristi Kent, the Director of Communications for the Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism. She adds that volunteers are now sought to assist with the tournament; interested parties may obtain additional details at www.rometenniscenter.com.
Community members do not have to be knowledgeable about tennis to pitch in their assistance with the tourney, states Kent. Actual tournament dates are April 21-25. COVID-19 protocols will be followed, like masking, cleaning, and social distancing.
