BRAVES DROP OUTING AT TRUIST PARK TO MARLINS

The Atlanta Braves fell to the Miami Marlins 14-8 on Tuesday night in game two of a four game series at Truist Park. It marked the third straight loss for the Braves.

It was a tough night on the pitchers mound for Max Fried, who was tagged with the loss after giving up a career high eight runs (seven earned) and nine hits, walking three, and striking out two in just four innings. He also tweaked his hamstring while running the bases.

Things initially looked hopeful for the Braves as they scored three runs in the bottom of the first inning on a two-run homer from Marcell Ozuna and a solo home run by Ozzie Albies.

However, the Marlins came charging back. Adam Duvall led the charge with seven runs versus his former team, including two home runs. Brian Anderson also homered.

The Braves will face the Marlins again tonight at 7:20 pm. The game will be broadcast on WLAQ 1410 AM and 96.9 FM; air time is set for 6:05 pm from the Atlanta Braves Radio Network.
