The ACC Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships are officially underway at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College.
Rome Mayor Craig McDaniel says that he believes that the ACC’s decision to host their tournament here is a testament to the boost provided by the RTC to this community’s quality of life. He applauds Lisa Smith and her staff at the Georgia’s Rome Office of Tourism for all of their hard work in hosting teams this week.
ACC tournament play continues through Sunday. Spectators are not allowed, although some locals are getting to take in a little college tennis as volunteers at the event.
