The Atlanta Braves were blanked in both games of a double header with the Arizona Diamondbacks, 5-0 and 7-0, on Sunday at Truist Park; that allowed the D’backs to take the weekend set between the teams 2-1, a series that was delayed by inclement weather on Saturday night in Atlanta.
Atlanta was limited to just one hit over 14 innings of play; that included no hits surrendered by Madison Bumgarner in the nightcap.
The Braves will host the Chicago Cubs in a four game series tonight through Thursday night. The first pitch of tonight’s series opener is set for 7:10 pm at Truist Park. That game will be broadcast on WLAQ 1410 AM and 96.9 FM; air time is 5:55 pm from the Atlanta Braves Radio Network.
