The Rome City Commission will meet this evening at City Hall (aka the City Auditorium) on Broad Street. A caucus session will take place at 5 pm in the Sam King Room; it will be followed by the regular meeting at 6:30 pm in the Commission Chambers.
Rome Mayor Craig McDaniel says that the last meeting marked the first time that the entire Commission gathered in person, following months of meeting via Zoom due to coronavirus concerns.

Floyd County Commissioners will meet Tuesday at the Forum River Center in downtown Rome. The caucus will be held at 4 pm in the Floyd Room and will be followed by the meeting at 6 pm in the ballroom. Each is open to the public. Attendees are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing.
