The American Red Cross of NWGA has scheduled a trio of blood drives for May and June in Rome.
Leigh Barba, Executive Director, asserts that there is a critical need for blood at this time. Potential donors may visit www.redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RED-CROSS to determine eligibility.
Drives will take place in Rome on Monday, May 10th and Thursday, May 27th from 2 pm to 7 pm at the Red Cross’ chapter office, 112 John Maddox Drive, and Tuesday, June 8th from 3 pm to 7 pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1941 Shorter Avenue.
Community members are also sought to serve on the American Red Cross of NWGA’s Board of Directors. To apply or get additional information, send an email to Barba at [email protected].
