ATLANTA BRAVES TO WELCOME TORONTO BLUE JAYS TO TRUIST PARK; ROME BRAVES AT GREENSBORO TO FACE GRASSHOPPERS

The Atlanta Braves were off on Monday and will return to action this evening with the opener of a three-game interleague series at home versus the Toronto Blue Jays. First pitch is scheduled for 7:20 pm at Truist Park. The game will be broadcast on WLAQ 1410 AM and 96.9 FM; air time is set for 6:05 pm by the Atlanta Braves Radio Network.

The Braves are back at .500 with an even 17 wins and 17 losses on their 2021 season after opening their current six game homestand by taking two of three from the Philadelphia Phillies over the weekend; that series concluded with a 6-1 victory for Atlanta in the finale on Sunday night.

The Braves are now smack in the middle of the NL East standings. They aim to exact revenge on their home field versus the Blue Jays, who swept the last three game set between those teams about a week and a half ago in Dunedin, Florida.

In a minor league update, the Rome Braves were off Monday. They’ll open a six-game series in Greensboro, NC against the Grasshoppers this evening; the first pitch is slated for 6:30 pm.
