Northwest Georgia residents are invited to attend the May Artist Market over at Howard Finster’s Paradise Garden in Summerville. The event will be held this Saturday, May 15th from 11 am to 4 pm.
Tina Cox, Executive Director of the Paradise Garden Foundation, asserts that the Market will be a celebration of Spring and of local artists. You may even find the perfect gifts for Dads and grads.
Artwork for sale will include pottery, jewelry, fine art, and folk art, indicates Cox.
The Outsider Art Trail Tour will return on Saturday, June 5th, states Cox, who adds that this event will be self-guided and dog friendly.
Cox additionally urges the public to mark those calendars for October 9th and 10th – those are the dates of Finster Fest 2021. The event, which typically has been held around Memorial Day weekend, was completely cancelled back in 2020 due to coronavirus concerns.
