The purpose of the conference was to educate the public on the recent uptick in traffic-related injuries and fatalities. Their aim is to increase public safety, as indicated by Sgt. Chris Fincher, who indicates that three main causes for traffic crashes include aggressive driving, distracted driving, and impaired driving.
